“innana” – Dance and theatre performance for children
The beginning is important, very important: everything has to start somehow in life. But how? And where? And what happens next?
innana takes the spectator back to the roots of human life, to life before birth. Dance, music and song fuse into a narration of some sort, in which two children (the dancers) set of to discover their underwater world. There they discover different universes, which are at once familiar and yet appear strange at the same time: a grotto, sea of plants, an animal kingdom … in each universe the body of the children changes somehow as does the space which they happen to be in. From a suitable distance the children are accompanied by the musicians, who like parents or good forces, protect them and support their transformations.
This piece is conceived for children from the age of 4, as well as their parents.
