Annick Pütz is an independent dancer and choreographer. She is interested in the development of dance works for adults and for young audiences alike.
Following her studies at the Rotterdamse Dansakademie and further studies, she becomes member of the “Centre de Recherche et de composition chorégraphique” in 2001 and in 2003 under the stewardship of Choreographer Susan Buirge. With support from Trois-CL, she receives several posts as “Artist in Residence”, for example in “L’Atelier de Paris- Carolyn Carson” and at the CCN de Lorraine in Nancy. Since 2005 she has regularly worked on several productions for young people at the Philharmonie Luxembourg. In 2011, she graduates as a somatic practitioner for the Body-Mind Centering® organization, whose approach is based on the somatic perception of body tissues, which has since then influenced her artistic work greatly. Annick Pütz has worked with musicians and composers such as Roby Steinmetzer, Camille Kerger, Serge Tonnar, Garth Knox, as well as other artists such as Daniel Tanson, Edmond Oliveira and Yuko Kominami. Examples of her creations are Tock Tock, Duerchzuch um Giele Botter, BlanContact, Seuils, Le Chemin aux Oiseaux and Hüllen.
